Similar in origin and mystery the Bermuda Triangle, the Buena Park 3 can only be described as a perfect melding of alcohol, lost taxi drivers, and three lost souls. And like the mysterious Bermuda Triangle these three lost souls dared to venture where no man had dared enter. Yet, faced with unspeakable horror these three brave OB souls lived to tell their harrowing stories for generations of future OB'ers.

No. 1 Course I’ll Never Go Back To
Hands down: Los Verdes Golf Course ($25-$45.50; 310-377-7370, americangolf.com) in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. I don’t care if it’s $33 to walk weekends. Those who fail to score a tee time at this insanely crowded muni are lucky. Conditions? Scruffy. And you play in fivesomes. My round approached four hours—for the front nine. I finally tapped in on 18 after a six-hour death march. Nothing about this course warrants a return.

Infamous collection of 9 OB'ers who took the 'Club Christmas Party' to a new level. To this day, these 9 individuals are not allowed to be left alone for prolonged periods of time.
little ggochu cup
Awarded in good humor to the golfer with the absolute worst showing for the tournament. The winner of this prestigious honor must also sport the ggochu cup belt at all OB events. Previously known as the Tiara Cup and Kim Jung Il Cup. The original name of the trophy was the Tiara Cup. It was later named the Kim Jung Il Cup in keeping with the Korean themed trophies and championships. Following the sinking of a South Korean naval vessel and the shelling of innocent civilians, the name was once again changed to the little ggochu cup. Spelling for ggochu has varied from gochu to go-chu. The two g's were settled upon when the FOB's in the group told us that more FOB's would get the joke that way. The move to the name 'ggochu cup' has created a litany of ggochu related emails and jokes that have nearly overwhelmed the worlds email servers.
Ode to OB

I have been inspired to write this Epic Poem called My OB Brothers.
Tracy's really good at golf and has a lot of money,
but he's quickly losing all his hair and that ain't so funny.
Joe talks to himself and others after every golf shot,
He's never too happy unless his ball goes in the slot.
Now Colonel makes a swing change everytime he plays,
well, that's his excuse when he shoots high eighties.
Dr. Chu takes the rules of golf way too serious,
better change to righty cause his game is so mysterious.
Daniel's playing better now but that won't be the trend,
when the shanks keep coming out and the yips never end.
Eastman plays a lot of golf and always says he sucks,
No one ever disputes his claim as we collect our winning bucks.
Hyon doesn't play much golf so he can not get a grip,
Better hit the range more than Kmart for fashion tips.
Kenny, oh Kenny, your drives are really short,
HGH, Viagra, whatever, just make it work.
Bobby my new protege, my only email companion,
yet he hasn't invited me to play at his new golf mansion.
Gene just hit 79 so he's head is in the clounds,
next time he plays, I guaranteee 3 out of bounds.
They call Chris a saint because he prays every day,
I just call him suger daddy because he always pays.
Frank is the running man sometimes faster than a horse,
always looking for his lost balls before they kick him off the course.
Stan says winning doesn't matter and always keeps a smile,
he shakes your hand as his buring inside and fakes it really well.
Mikey hits his 3 iron longer than his driver,
but when he goes into a bunker it's a painful endeavor.
And Finally, Hyung the elder statesman turned 50 this year,
but when he swings his golf clubs it brings Bobby Jones to tears.
